The Mughal Gardens (Nishat Garden And Shalimar Garden)is situated on the Banks of the Dal Lake only 8 miles away from Capital City Srinagar. Dal Lake is situated in the centre of the zabarwan mountains.  Dal Lake is famous for its Houseboat and Shikaras. Both are the source of income for the people Kashmir.
The Famous tourist Hill Station of the valley is Gulmarg.

Sonmarg, Pahalgam, Doodpathri, Veernag, Kokernag Etc are the other famous Tourist and Picnic spots of the valley. Wular Lake Is The Biggest Fresh Water Lake In Asia.
